Menasco C4S Aero Engine

Short engine , 1936 Menasco C4S. Crank case assembly only , no cylinder heads .
This is a supercharged engine as fitted to the likes of the Ryan STM and others.

The crank is in excellent condition siting in bearing. Shells that have seen little work. Pistons are not airworthy . Cylinders are externally in excellent but have wear and require re- chroming .

Supercharger casing in excellent condition internally and impeller is like new but missing impeller retaining nut and locking ring .

Rear gear cover complete with all gears and drives other than main crank drive gear and retaining nut.
A set of matching pushrods .

Front crank thrust and nut also missing.

Camshaft in good condition , all cam followers present . Engine speed drive and oil pump(s) assembly.

The crankcase and cover are in very good condition.

Correct Carburettor designated for C4S
Inlet manifold , a quantity of related fixings and fasteners

Ideal as a spare crank case , crank and source of spares
